Once again Garth the overman rode his warbeat into the decaying frontier town of Skelleth. His mission for the immortal Forgotten King was finished. He bore a sack of loot from the ravaged altars of the Dark Gods of Dusarra and beside him was the fearful sword of Bheleu, god of destruction. Its jewelled hilt gleamed redly threatening to seize his will and drive him into berserk fury. But soon the sword would be the King's worry
Nothing went as it should however. Skelleth was besieged by an overman army. The insane Baron of Skelleth still plotted against Garth. And the King refused the sword from which Garth could no longer free himself
For this was the beginning of the Fourteenth Age when Bheleu would rule. And the dark god had chosen Garth for his vessel and the agent of a catastrophic reign of rapine and wanton destruction
