The issue opens with Sam on a boat on the lake reminiscing about how he met Walter.
Things in the house start to fracture as some of the group want to sit tight and enjoy the luxuries provided for them, whilst others feel duty bound to understand why they are trapped there, whether there is anything beyond the house and what’s happened to the rest of the world.
Sam explores the ground and comes across some mysterious statues, reaches the house boundaries but he misses out on finding there’s someone else trapped with them. Someone that no one knows about yet.
