ISSUE NOTES - During the Cold War, the Russians spared no effort in their quest for the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. All manner of biological, chemical and nuclear hell on earth was developed and deployed for a war with the West that never came. To this day, remnants of their destructive research lie lost and forgotten in decaying labs and crumbling warehouses throughout the former Soviet Union.
