Living in the woods and off the grid, the Frontiersman has all but retired from the superhero game. But when an environmentalist comes knocking as asks the Frontiersman help protect the giant red woods from deforestation, he may just have found a cause worthy of reigniting his super heroic career.
Kindlon and Ferrari’s opener is purposefully and delightfully big on dialogue and light on action. Not much really happens, there’s some backstory, seeds for a bigger story are sown, and the supporting cast is introduced.
That’s about it.
But, it’s a great opener and I’m all in for next issue!
