Andrew Bennett, I, Vampire, combusts into flame on the steps of the Hall of Justice. Saved by Green Lantern, Bennett tells him that an uneasy truce that existed between humans and vampires has ended with the murder of Mary Queen of Blood. The vampires now see humanity as food!
Bennett follows Mary’s murderers to the Legion of Doom and finds they are decimated, apart from a barely alive Lex Luthor who injects Bennett with something that ‘may save the world’.
An entertaining first issue following the usual vampire world domination theme, but is full of black humour and great art.
