As Knull unleashes symbiote dragons, there’s a call for any Avengers Adjacent (basically B & C list heroes!) to join the fight against the King In Black and Dane Whitman finds himself in Shanghai teaming up with Aero and Sword Master.
The team up and fight sequences form the backdrop to a retconning of the Black Knight’s relationship to the Ebony Blade and the sword’s link to Knull, which Spurrier handles with aplomb. There should be a special mention for Saiz’s art which in places is absolutely stunning!
A verily triumphant one-shot for the Black Knight. Give me more Whitman!
