Birds of Prey gets the DC Black Label treatment in this nicely presented prestige format edition.
Harley’s out of Belle Reve prison, Canary’s old friends are turning up dead and Huntress and Montoya are on the tail of new crime gang. Oh, and the Joker isn’t happy he’s split up with Harley and wants a chat!
Brian Azzarello’s script gives each of the main characters their own time in the spotlight (although the new crime gang is instantly forgettable) and the art by Emmanuela Lupacchino is really nice.
All packaged up behind a great J. Scott Campbell cover. It’s enjoyable.
