Mercenary for hire Cantrell faces a military tribunal for the alleged savage murder of both resistance fighters and CIA operatives, but claims he saw a monstrous shadowy figure do the killing.

Cantrell’s lawyer Griggs Irving decides to dig deeper into his claims to prove his innocence.  

A ‘deep throat’ source gives Irving a French diary detailing stories of mass killings and sightings of a similar creature dating back to WW1. 

But will they be enough to save Cantrell?
