HUNDRED WORD HIT - JUSTICE LEAGUE SPECIAL #2
JLA - Superpower by John Arcudi & Scot Eaton
Mark Anateus always wanted to be a superhero. When Anateus fails to rescue a family from a building fire he turns to STAR Labs to provide him with genetic enhancements.
His heroics gain him the attention of the JLA and he’s considered by Superman as being worthy of the team. However Anateus soon clashes with the League over whether or not to take down a Saddam Hussein style despot.
This is a solid one-shot by Arcudi and Eaton raising the interesting dilemma for the League members of just how much influence they should have on actual world politics. Clever.
