HUNDRED WORD HIT - JUSTICE LEAGUE SPECIAL #1

New Years’s Evil - Prometheus #1 by Grant Morrison and Arnie Jorgensen

Behind a cool Jason Pearson cover we discover the origin of Prometheus, a villain using alien technology to out-think his opponents, essentially he’s DC’s version of Taskmaster

With both parents killed whilst enjoying a life of crime, Prometheus sets off to learn the skills necessary to destroy justice - a kind of anti-Batman. And there’s only one way to destroy justice - take down the Justice League!

The story serves the purpose of providing a backstory to what was one of the coolest villains of the 90s and Jorgensen’s art is nice throughout and he draws an amazing splash page

Rating 6.5 out of 10
