HUNDRED WORD HIT #82 - MISKATONIC #5

Miskatonic #5 by Mark Sable & Giorgio Pontrelli

The master plan of Father Dagon/Mother Hydra is revealed.  Will Agent Keller be tempted to join them or will Malone be her saviour at the last?

Sable and Pontrelli pull together all the loose ends bar one for this final issue of what has been an enjoyable series steeped in Lovecraftian mythos.  There’s a minor thread left dangling which could herald a return for the characters at some point.

The most interesting part of the final issue was Sable’s afterword on women and the lack of opportunities for them in the FBI under Hoover.  It’s astonishing and sadly true.

Rating 7.5 out of 10
