HUNDRED WORD HIT #76 - ALIEN #1

Alien #1 by Phillip Kennedy Johnson & Salvador Larocca

Retiring Epsilon space station Security Chief Gabriel Cruz is having dreams about Aliens.  Returning to Earth Cruz hopes to reconcile differences with his estranged son who just happens to be part of an activist group determined to expose the Weyland-Yutani Corp are up to no good on Epsilon.

Managing to board the Epsilon, sure enough the activists mess things up and let the aliens loose. There’s nothing really new about the story but it has a definite Alien feel to it which is excellent

Larocca’s photo realistic style is great especially when he gets to draw old favourite Bishop!

Rating 8.5 out of 10
