HUNDRED WORD HIT #74 - WINTER SOLDER: THE BITTER MARCH #1-5
Winter Soldier - The Bitter March #1-4 by Rick Remender & Roland Boschi
It’s 1966 and Nick Fury’s no.2 at SHIELD Ran Shen is tasking with bringing in two ex-Nazi scientists who have finished Arnim Zola’s work and perfected The Alchemy Formula.
Hydra wants them and the Russian’s do too so enter The Winter Soldier.
Remender gives us some great back story to The Winter Solider, introduces a great character in Shen and a superb Hydra villain (and Bowie lookalike) in The Drain.
The action is fast and furious and Boschi’s art is tremendous. There should be a special mention to Andrew Robinson’s excellent covers too. In all a great mini!
