The team up and fight sequences form the backdrop to a retconning of the Black Knight’s relationship to the Ebony Blade and the sword’s link to Knull, which Spurrier handles with aplomb. There should be a special mention for Saiz’s art which in places is absolutely stunning!
A verily triumphant one-shot for the Black Knight. Give me more Whitman!
