HUNDRED WORD HIT #37 - DAREDEVIL: REDEMPTION #1-6

Daredevil - Redemption #1-6 by David Hine & Michael Gaydos

A small boy has been found dead on the outskirts of Redemption Valley, Alabama. Three local teens with an interest in heavy metal music and satanic imagery are arrested for the murder and Matt Murdock is called to in from New York to defend Joel Flood one of the accused.

Hine weaves a very clever story, part police procedural and part court room drama. Daredevil rarely makes an appearance but that doesn’t matter as the story is so gripping (especially the court sequence) there’s no real need for him - this is a Matt Murdock story. The final issue was outstanding.
