HUNDRED WORD HIT #322 - STAR WARS VISIONS #1
Star Wars Visions #1 by Takashi Okazaki
Presumably Marvel’s idea behind Star Wars Visions is to have non-canon stories reimagined in different settings. Takashi Okazaki brings his storytelling prowess to the fore with the meeting of a Sith and Jedi in an almost futuristic feudal Japan setting
The Ronin Jedi and Sith, along with their respective droids, encounter each other in the snowy mountains. Will they fight to the death or will their relationship turn out to be something altogether different?
The art is fluid and dynamic and the story is an interesting mash up of science fiction and history. It’s different and worth a look.
