A salvage crew is on the hunt for a sunken German WW1 submarine carrying a load of gold bars. Diver Nick Shoals seeks silence under the waves after the horrors of fighting in the trenches. A survivor the of the submarine speaks of hearing beautiful things underwater.
The artwork is dark and moody above the waves and utterly claustrophobic below it, the darkness of the ocean depths punctuated by the divers torch. Then there’s the monster....
Genuinely the stuff of nightmares. Superb!
