Having stuck with Zdarky’s previous run on Daredevil until about the time Elektra assumed the mantle, a new first issue seemed an appropriate jumping back on point.
How wrong I was. If Marvel wanted to get new readers on to the book the sheer weight of story of the last 30 odd issues is going to put a lot of people off.
Zdarsky’s clearly in the throes of crafting the epic battle between Daredevil and The Hand and maybe eventually this new #1 will feel like the beginning of a new chapter, but on first reading it was pretty confusing.
