HUNDRED WORD HIT #288 - SHANG-CHI & THE TEN RINGS #1

Shang-chi And The Ten Rings #1 by Gene Yuen Lang & Marcus To

Clearly Shang-chi was a huge hit for Marvel, so much so that the comics have been re-aligned to mirror the cinematic version of the character.  That’s no bad thing as this opening issue was as fun as the film.

Shang-chi holds the Ten Rings but Marvel’s villainous crime syndicates like A.I.M, and Hydra will stop at noting to possess them.

Cue lots of insane fight scenes snappy dialogue as Shang-chi battles to keep the rings out of their clutches.

A great opener with an ending sure to bring you back for the second issue

Rating 8.5 out of 10
