After torturing and killing two witches, Sobrat believes he has the location of the cave complex where the lost Nazi gold is hidden. Ernie realises he’s teamed up with a serial killer and Sobrat admits to using war zones to cover up his murders.
They are chased into the cave complex by the remaining witches, but despite fighting each other, manage to locate the gold. At the final moment Ernie decides he wants no part of the deal and leaves Sobrat alone in the caves.
There’s time for one last twist and some form of absolution and peace for Ernie.
