HUNDRED WORD HIT #224 - THE SILVER COIN #8
The Silver Coin #8 by Matthew Rosenberg & Michael Walsh
Wall Street 1968 - an aged coin dealer called Holgrave sells an odd looking silver coin to company executive Mr Pynchon.
But Pynchon isn’t the only employee in the office that is enamoured by the coin. Cleaner Henry feels its allure and when he’s reassigned to clean other floors in the building, Henry will stop at nothing to have the coin in his possession.
Rosenberg writes a great script and Walsh’s art is amazing - there are a couple of breathtaking splash pages as he really hits the high notes this issue.
Name me a better horror comic around at the moment?
