I genuinely didn’t know what was going on in this opening issue, other than it looked like there were a team of Sonja’s with different colours & designations, which kind of reminded me of The Power Rangers (the Power Sonjas??).
There’s hell, demons and some chap called Hrodulf who looks like a Viking, but I’m not sure what the team of Sonja’s were up to.
That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy some of the dialogue and behind a fantastic Lucio Parillo cover there’s some really nice interior art by Pasquale Qualano which will just about bring me back next time.
