Joker escapes from Arkham Asylum as usual and flies off to Lebanon with a cruise missile - its the 80’s!! Jason Todd (Robin) discovers his real mother could be alive, he and Batman head to Ethiopia to find her. She’s in cahoots with the Joker. Fans used a telephone poll to vote on whether Robin lived or died. He dies. Batman wants vengeance but Joker gets diplomatic immunity and becomes the Iranian ambassador to the UN. Superman, using a moustache as a disguise, and Batman foil Jokers plot to gas the UN. Joker’s helicopter explodes. His body is not found.
