With the end of the war hours away, the Nazis try desperately to get the creature to do their bidding. Nocoma, the only person able to speak its archaic language, is forced to communicate with it, risking looking like a collaborator in the eyes of his fellow POWs.
Nocoma speaks with the creature and manages to agree to a mutually beneficial agreement between them - one that may involve offering up his fellow inmates as food!
Throw in a the digging of an escape tunnel, and tensions running high between the POWs, and you have a superb issue full of drama!
