HUNDRED WORD HIT #187 - TWO MOONS #6

Two Moons #6 by John Arcudi & Valerio Giangiordano

Twenty years after the events in the first story arc, Virgil Two Moons and Frances’ paths cross once again as she treats a young Pawnee man of a gun shot wound accused of cattle rustling.

Following the Civil War, Frances is now married to a Union solider whose job is now to ensure the Indian tribes remain on their reservations.

Out in the snowy night Virgil warns off the pursuers by summoning a huge spirit wolf.  Seeds are sown for this second arc, Giangiordano’s art is stunning, and this continues to be one of Image’s best books of the last year.
