D’Artagnan and companions set sail on the trail of Richelieu On the high seas they enlist the aid of Captain Blood, who is going to help them break into the Bastille and rescue their final recruit, Doktor Faust.
Whilst this issue feels a little light on action, Daugherty expertly moves the story along and gives all the main characters the appropriate amount of panel time. There’s an artistic change from the opening two issues but it’s a seamless one as Dallocchio effortlessly steps up to the drawing board.
This continues to be a fun read and another hit for Aftershock.
