Death Ship - The Last Voyage Of The Demeter #1-4 by Gary Gerani & Stuart Sayger

Ever wondered what happened to the crew of the ship that transported Dracula from the Carpathians to Whitby? Frankly it doesn’t have a good ending for the sailors as slowly the crew disappear at night one by one. Eventually they realise there’s some thing on board and it might be related to the mysterious boxes of soil that are in the cargo hold. The end is inevitable and Dracula arrives in England well fed and rested like a First Class passenger. Worth mentioning is Sayger’s loose art style that in places reminded me of Bill Sienkiewicz’s early 80’s work
