HUNDRED WORD HIT #130 - MOONKNIGHT #1

Moonknight #1 by Jed McKay & Alessandro Cappuchio

Now operating under his Mr Knight guise and from the Midnight Mission, Moonknight acting as High Priest of Khonshu, now sees himself as the protector of all who travel at night.

McKay expertly gives the reader some of Moonknight’s backstory through a therapy session whilst interspersing that with him taking down vampires and were-rats.

In typical first issue fashion there’s a shadowy villain with his sights set on Moonknight, and a twist on the final page.

The art is really nice and it’s safe to say that Moonknight is in safe hands with Cappuchio and McKay.  A great opener!
