With Sonja seemingly being killed in the opening few pages, we quickly flashback to a few days earlier when she’s travelling the high seas with Captain Rafi and his band of pirates.
Capturing a Belanji ship they find the most precious cargo is Princess Zaria, who promptly escapes their clutches and dives overboard. The ship then runs aground, lured on the rocks by Sirens leaving Sonja shipwrecked, only to be rescued by….. yes, you’ve guessed it Princess Zaria. Princess Zaria who would now like to employ Sonja as a bodyguard.
Good story, and great art by Moritat. Seek this out!
