Whilst escaping from a pirate slave ship, Conan finds a strange box which bestows in his mind the map to a great treasure. Conan’s not the only one after this hoard; the evil half lizard sorcerer Koga-Thun also wants it. Teaming up with fellow slave Suty and librarian Menes (yes you read that right!), Conan and companions race against Thun to secure the prize. Garney’s art literally fizzes on the page, and Duggan writes a great Conan whose self belief and brute strength usually ensures he beats all enemies but has he ever come across someone like Koga-Thun??
