Taking on the job of transporting Augustus McCray and his granddaughter Val Sundog and her brother Emory find themselves being tracked down by Blacktop Bill. Bill wants McCray and is prepared to kill anything that stands in his way.
Whilst a little light on action, this issue allows Snyder time to expand Val and Emory’s backstory and to give an insight into why everything has gone dark.
Daniel’s art is superb, and his designs for Sundog and Blacktop Bill are very cool. Snyder’s script is starting to hint at bigger things at play so strap in for the ride folks!!
