HUNDRED WORD HIT #101 - JAMES BOND: SERVICE

Hundred Word Hit #101

James Bond - Service by Kieron Gillen & Antonio Fuso

Ahead of a visit to the UK the new American Secretary of State decides that America no longer needs Britain to be part of the ‘Special Relationship’.

Bond is called in to look into a potential security threat as apparently the SOS’s comments have him marked as a enemy of Britain’s freedom; he’s now firmly in the sights of home-grown extremists!

Bond tracks down the extremists, leading to a showdown at the Imperial War Museum, saving the SOS and reinforcing the ‘Special Relationship’.

Gillen writes Bond with a nice amount of humour and Fuso’s line work is really good.
